Product Tags, Type and Collection

In this article, we will discuss what are Product Tags, Types, and Collections are.

Tags, types, and collections are added to the product to help the operators and subsequently customers filter products on Shopify. WHEN ARE THESE ADDED. ADD ARTICLE AND SECTION WHERE TAG TYPE AND COLLECTIONS ARE ADDED ON PRODUCT I.E. ADDING A PRODUCT FORM.

Product type - A category for the product that you can use to manage your products. For example, you can use the product type as a condition for an automated collection, or to help you filter your products in the Shopify admin. A product can have only one product type.

Product tags - Tags are descriptors that are assigned to a specific product to organize, document, and track it. The product tag contains keywords or key phrases for each respective product, which are stored in a computer.

Product Collection - A collection allows you to organize products into structured groups, to help customers find products faster. When a customer visit your website, they want to quickly navigate to the products they're interested in buying.

Product Tags, types, and collections are added by the operators on their store and once it is enabled in Marketcube, vendors can use the same tags, types and collections set up by the operator to map any product with the same.


How to set Product tags, types, and collections:

1. Click on Setting Icon >> Navigate to Products >> Click Show >> Click Products Settings.

2.  You can allow your vendors to add/edit tags, types, collections by selecting the respective checkbox available. They will only be able to add/edit tags that exist in your store. You can use the resync button to sync the latest tags, types, collections from Shopify to Marketcube.
